About The Home

The home is located in the Westmount Mall area, a few blocks north of the mall.

The home is a larger home and features 3 living/family rooms and 4 bedrooms. The second story of the home is divided into half as 2 large bedrooms. Think living room sized bedroom only square. Roughly 425 square feet per room. Both rooms are carpeted come furnished with queen sized bed, dresser, desk, chair, chest of draws, and a few additional options. Both of these rooms were just recently completely re-painted. The 4th bedroom in the basement has been traditionally used as an office, but in special circumstances has been used as a bedroom when someone was in need.

Given the configuration of the home, 3 people is the ideal living arrangement. This allows everyone a room outside of their bedroom for private time or the ability to socialize with others.

Additionally, the home features a kitchen, dining room, high-speed Internet access, a fully fenced back yard, an attached deck, patio set, and BBQ. The two main level living rooms feature TV and Blu-Ray/DVD watching options. For those of you who enjoy your video game time options are available for you as well.

For those of you that bus the home has fantastic bus service. Within 1 1/4 blocks to the north, east, and south are three separate major bus routes all serviced by multiple buses.

For that need quick access to The U of A, there is a bus that takes you to the main terminal in less than 10 minutes.

I have been open to roommates with pets before, but as always more than one have spoiled it for the rest of us, responsible people; meaning pets could be subject to pet deposits and pet fees.

This is a forward thinking home here, so please everyone is welcome. Yes this most certainly undoubtedly includes members of the LGBTQ community. References will be required and checked.

Please remember as if you were renting your own apartment, at some point in time you will be expected to chip in on the cleaning. Being a clean “freak” to start with is always a plus. 🙂

For security reasons, photos are available by request for anyone who is serious about renting. Before you ask, yes we have experienced people using these postings looking for homes to later rob.

We are very laid back and friendly here. When here you are encouraged to think of this as your home, not just a room you rent and to make common space “yours”. We look forward to meeting with you.

Monthly incentives have been arranged in the past for roommates looking to take on certain household tasks and be responsible for them.
