Public Transit

For those of you that bus the home has fantastic bus service. Within 1 1/4 blocks to the north, east, and south are three separate major bus routes all serviced by multiple buses.

To the north, you have access to all the busses that run along Dovercourt Avenue. To the east, you have access to all the busses that run along St. Albert/Mark Messier Trail. To the south, you have access to all the busses that run around 118 Avenue.

For that need quick access to The U of A, there is a bus that takes you to the main terminal in less than 10 minutes. This is normally done via the 128. However for immediate future, due to the construction on the Groat Bridge, bus traffic has been temporarily diverted. You can still take the 128, only you take it to Jasper Avenue and 108 Street. At that point, you get off, enter the LRT underground terminal and then you are 2 stops away from the University main bus/LRT terminal. This adds roughly 10 minutes to the trip time, give or take any wait time you might have for the LRT.
